4th Annual Legends of the Ball

On May 31st, Good Sports celebrated its most successful year ever with our 4th Annual Legends of the Ball Event. In 2006, Good Sports donated more $1.2 million worth of equipment, impacting 50,000 kids in over 120 organizations. More than 600 people came out to the Roxy to raise money and awareness, all in an effort to push Good Sports to even greater heights in 2007.

The event was emceed by the always entertaining Glenn Ordway, Lenny Clarke and Mike O’Malley. Musical guests included Darryl McDaniels from Run DMC, and Boys Gone Wild, a collaboration of the bands Vertical Horizon and Stroke 9. Good Sports also honored the Daniel Marr Boys & Girls Club, Nokona Athletic, and David Ortiz for their continuous support of our cause.

When all was said and done, Good Sports had raised $200,000, an increase of over 30% from the previous year! Thank you to everyone who came out that night in support of Good Sports, and we hope to see you all there next year to help us get everyone in the game!
