Play Champions is Good Sports’ premier fundraising team with a single mission: making sure every child in the country has access to sports and play opportunity. By running in our signature events, our Play Champions fundraise over $250,000 annually to support youth programs nationwide with brand new sports equipment donations.

When you join the Play Champions, you join a group of over 200 runners, past and present, who have put themselves at the start line of a race to equip children with brand new sports gear. The time, sweat, and heart it takes to train and fundraise for children needing our help most represents the spirit of a Play Champion – and over $1,000,000 has been raised for youth in need by our Play Champions since 2018!
