Good Sports is thrilled to continue their partnership with basketball star Paige Bueckers through the Restore Play LA Recovery Fund, an effort dedicated to helping Los Angeles youth recover from the devastating effects of recent wildfires. With a generous commitment of $50,000, Paige is stepping up to ensure kids in impacted communities can get back in the game.

Sports have the power to heal, inspire, and unite—and through Restore Play LA, Good Sports will provide much-needed equipment, apparel, and footwear to programs serving youth in hard-hit areas. Whether it’s basketballs, cleats, jerseys, or nets, this initiative is ensuring that young athletes can return to the field, court, or pitch with confidence. Thanks to Paige’s incredible contribution, along with support from our friends at Gatorade, children in LA will once again experience the joy of sports.

“Basketball has given me so much more than just a game—it’s given me a community, confidence, and a space to dream big,” said Paige Bueckers. “Every kid deserves that same opportunity, no matter their circumstances. I’m proud to team up with Good Sports and Gatorade to help bring play back to LA!”

Focusing on the hardest-hit areas in Los Angeles, this initiative prioritizes underserved communities, recognizing the critical role of play in promoting healing, mental wellness, and personal growth, especially during times of loss and uncertainty.

“At Good Sports, we believe in the power of partnerships to create real impact” says Christy Keswick, Co-Founder and President of Good Sports “With the support of Paige and Gatorade, we are committed to restoring hope, fostering resilience, and ensuring that every child affected by these wildfires has the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive.”

This donation is in continuation of Paige’s previous work with Good Sports to help impact the lives of young athletes. During Paige’s time at UCONN, she has partnered with Good Sports to donate over $65,000 of new sports equipment and apparel to underserved youth sports programs in Washington DC, Minneapolis and Montana, including a surprise unveiling event with a girls’ basketball team in Hartford, CT.

Please join Paige and Good Sports in bringing play back to the children of Los Angeles by donating here today.
